Duration: ±16 days / ±14 nights

A specialist 4x4 soft adventure tour which will take us to the most remote regions of Namibia and reward us with grand vistas, the opportunity to meet some of the last genuine nomads, the Himbas.

See the Epupa waterfalls, raft on the Kunene River, and be totally alone with nature. We encounter the legendary desert elephants and rhinos and many other desert-dwelling animals, including oryx, zebra and springbok.

Where there are no Lodges to accommodate us, we will camp under the stars. We see the rock art at Twyfelfontein and drive along the Skeleton coast to Cape cross and back to Windhoek.

We drive into the red sands of the Kalahari semi-desert, encounter San people, raft on the Orange River, visit the diamond "Sperrgebiet", enjoy the hot springs at Ai Ais, collect agate on the beach near Lüderitz and see the feral horses of the Namib.

A soft adventure tour for those who love the solitude of the desert and enjoy the camaraderie of drifting down the Orange River and camp on its banks at night by the fire and stories to tell. We return to Windhoek via Sossusvlei.
